The internet is for porn...WHATTTT????

Well, not that I purposefully search for porn on the internet. There's this song from 'Avenue Q', the musical that goes: "The internet is for porn, the internet is for porn, why you think the net was born? Porn, porn, porn." 

Well, the musical reasoned that the internet was born to distribute porn, but I highly doubt that. But, it is still true that the internet is used as a tool to store and transfer data. However when one says about the abuse of the internet, one always equate it with porn. How did that happen? For internet abuse can also be said to be the criminal exploitation of the internet, distributing viruses and malware, cyber-bullying, and etc. etc.

For now, I am still dwelling on this question. So do you guys agree that the net was born for porn?
